Notification of Colo Maintenance (reoccuring maintenance window thoughout November)

This is notification of reoccuring maintenance at Encoded's COLO2 Data Centre throughout the month of November 2014.

Maintenance Window: 22:00 - 00:00

 

Estimated Duration: 2hrs (15 mins outage)

 

Description of Maintenance: Reconfiguration of current SIP network to reallocate capacity.

 

Reason for Maintenance: As part of maintenance on our SIP network, a two hour maintenance window is required to reconfigure our SIP network. As part of this process rerouting is necessary which may cause up to fifteen minutes of down time.

 

Services Affected: All IVR services within Colo2 only.

Estimated Duration: 1hr (10 mins outage)

 

Description of Maintenance: Upgrading of firmware to the firewalls within Encoded's Colo2 data centre.

 

Reason for Maintenance: As part of a routine server maintenance, a one hour maintenance window is required to install new firmware to the hardware firewalls within Encoded's Colo2 data centre. As part of this process, the firewalls will require cycling leading to up to ten minutes of down time.

 

Services Affected: All IVR, Payment, SMS and Web services within Colo2 only. We're expecting a drop in connectivity while the hardware is cycled after the firmware upgrade.

Estimated Duration: 1hr (no downtime expected)

 

Description of Maintenance: Upgrading hardware within the Colo2 data centre.

 

Reason for Maintenance: As part of a routine server upgrade, a one hour maintenance window is required to install two new blade servers to increase overall server capacity. No downtime is expected during this maintenance window although services will be 'at risk during the full maintenance window'.

 

Services Affected: No downtime expected.

Description of Maintenance: Upgrading of firmware within Colo2 environment.

 

Reason for Maintenance: As part of a routine server maintenance, a one hour maintenance window is required to install new firmware.

As part of this process, hardware within the server stack will require cycling leading to up to ten minutes of down time.

 

Services Affected: All IVR, Payment, SMS and Web services within Colo2 only. We're expecting a drop in connectivity while the hardware is cycled after the firmware upgrade.
